Fifteen schools have punched their ticket to the second round of the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition after STETHS and Seaforth won rescheduled games on Monday.

Mustaq Christopher scored a double as STETHS blanked Sydney Pagon High 4-0 while Seaforth High secured Zone O honours with a 3-0 win over second placed Paul Bogle High The win which was STETHS’ third straight took them to 23 points, well ahead of second placed Munro College as Antonio Biggs and Michael German also got on the score sheet.

Seaforth High raced to 22 points and opened up a seven points lead over Paul Bogle after their 3-0 win extending their run against the losers to nine straight unbeaten.

Defending champions Clarendon College booked their spot on Saturday and are joined by Anchovy High from Zone A, Frome Technical and Rusea’s High from Zone B, Mannings School from Zone D, Lennon High from Zone H, Annotto Bay in Zone J, McGrath and Charlemont in Zone K, Port Antonio and Happy Grove in Zone L and Garvey Maceo and Denbigh High in Zone M are also through.
