STETHS ended a near 10-year trophy drought after beating former champions Clarendon College 3-1 in the ISSA/Wata Ben Francis Cup final at the National Stadium on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, to win a record-tying seventh title.

It was STETHS’ first title since 2015 when they won the daCosta Cup/Ben Francis double. They joined Cornwall College with seven liens on the Knock-out trophy.

It was the first time since the 2016 season that Clarendon College had failed to win a title.

STETHS scored in the 27th minute when Kaieem Lewis beat the Clarendon College goalkeeper from close range.

They doubled the advantage just before halftime when Henry Johnson scored in the first minute of added time.

Clarendon College was thrown a lifeline when Justin Hayles scored from the penalty spot in the 69th minute, but that was not enough. STETHS added a third goal when Jordan Blake, a second-half substitute, scored in time added at the end of the second half.
