Wolmer’s Boys were off to a fast start, scoring in the third minute through striker David Rodgers to break the deadlock. Minutes after the goal was scored the game halted for security reasons, and the referee called for a break. During the break, there was an altercation between Pembroke Hall players and Delano Daley saw red for striking his fellow teammate in the 14th minute.
After the resumption, Rakiech Mundell latched on to a magnificent through ball to level the encounter at 1-1 in the 29th minute, which proved to be enough to earn Pembroke Hall a valuable point.
Elsewhere in Group G action Edith Dalton James drew 1-1 with Waterford High, and Holy Trinity defeated Jose Marti Technical 4-0 to close the gap on group leaders Wolmer’s Boys.
